This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled when you use the Match Betting Tracker iOS application (the "App"). This policy is provided by Shivam Paw Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to store information locally on your device and sync it securely via your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. We, the developers, do not have access to the specific data you enter into the App stored locally or within your CloudKit container. The information handled by the App includes:

• Account Information: Names you assign to bookmaker and exchange accounts, account types, and the starting and current balances you manage.
• Bet Details: Information about the bets you log, including bet type, back and lay stakes, back and lay odds, lay commission, liability, event details/notes, event dates/times, settlement status (pending, won, lost, void), and calculated or actual profit/loss figures.
• Freebie Details: Information about the freebies or offers you track, including names, types (free bet, spins, etc.), status (not started, pending, available, used, expired), associated account, relevant dates (received, expiry, used), notes, and any recorded profit for non-free-bet types.
• Transaction Details: Records of financial movements within your accounts, such as deposits, withdrawals, bet placement stakes/liability, settlement returns/winnings/commission, cashback, and manual adjustments. These are often generated automatically when settling bets or can be added manually.
• Linked Data: Relationships you establish within the app, such as linking bets to specific accounts, linking freebies to the bets that generate or consume them, and linking transactions back to related bets or freebies.

CloudKit Synced Data: All the data types listed above are synced using Apple's CloudKit framework to your private iCloud storage. This allows you to access your data across multiple devices signed in with the same Apple ID and serves as a backup. We do not have access to this data. Diagnostics and Usage Data (Optional via Apple): If you have opted-in to share diagnostics and usage information with app developers through your iOS device settings, Apple may collect anonymized usage statistics and crash reports. We may use this anonymized data solely to identify bugs and improve the App's performance and features. This data collection is governed by Apple's policies and your device settings.

Analytics Data (PostHog): We use PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to understand how users interact with the App. This includes tracking events like button taps, screen views, and feature usage patterns. The data collected is anonymized and does not contain any personally identifiable information or the specific financial details you enter (like account names, balances, bet details, etc.). We assign a random anonymous ID to your usage session. This helps us identify trends, fix bugs, and improve the overall user experience. Data sent to PostHog is handled according to their privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information managed by the App is used solely for the following purposes:

• To Provide App Functionality: To allow you to track your accounts, calculate bets, log bets, manage freebies, track profit/loss, and view your transaction history as intended by the App's features.
• To Sync Data via CloudKit: To enable seamless data synchronization and backup across your devices using your private iCloud account via CloudKit.
• To Improve the App: To analyze anonymized crash reports and usage statistics (if provided via Apple's opt-in mechanism) and anonymized analytics data from PostHog to identify and fix bugs, understand feature usage, and enhance the user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored:

• Locally on Your Device: Using Apple's secure SwiftData framework within the App's private container.
• In Your Private iCloud Account: Synced via Apple's CloudKit service. Access to this data is controlled by your Apple ID authentication. We do not have the keys or ability to access data stored in your private CloudKit database.

We do not implement any independent security measures beyond those provided by Apple's iOS, SwiftData, and CloudKit frameworks, as we do not directly access or store your data on our own servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share the personal data you enter into the App (account details, bets, freebies, transactions) with any third parties. Your data remains on your device and within your private CloudKit storage.

Anonymized and aggregated crash reports or usage statistics may be collected by Apple if you have opted-in via your device settings, and may be shared with us by Apple for the sole purpose of app improvement.

5. Your Data Rights (Access, Edit, Delete)

You have full control over the data you enter into the App:

• Access and Edit: You can access and edit all your entered data (accounts, bets, freebies, manual transactions) directly within the App interface at any time.
• Delete: You can delete individual records (accounts, bets, freebies, transactions) directly within the App, usually via list swipes or edit menus. Deleting items like bets or freebies may also delete their associated transactions.
• App Deletion: Deleting the App from your device will remove all locally stored data associated with the App. Data synced to your CloudKit storage may remain in your iCloud account; you can manage your iCloud data via your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (or the legal age for gambling in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
